Rediscovering Hope Through the Lens of Suffering

Weekly Linkup Prayer

November 14, 2018 By Rachel Lee 13 Comments

Father, I lift up each and every blogger, writer and influencer who frequents this space today.

It is so easy to become entangled by the ways of the world, and tempted to conform to its patterns, but we know that as believers, we are called to be different from the norm!

As we seek you in your Word each day, would you help it to seep in, take root, and renew the way we think, act and believe.

The more we familiarize ourselves with your Truth, the easier we will detect the lies of the enemy. Help us become one with your Word, oh God. Fill us with your Spirit, so that we can effectively pour out to others.

As we plan, create, and execute our daily tasks associated with our areas of ministry, would you lead us and guide us. Grant us the discernment to know what is good, acceptable and perfect in your sight, and give us the boldness, the vision, and the discipline to carry it out.

For your glory! Amen.

Weekly LinkUp Prayer

November 7, 2018 By Rachel Lee 15 Comments

Hello lovely writers & influencer’s!!

The Lord has been speaking to me in this season, about the importance of REST! And so, under His direct leading, I am taking a few months off from “most” of my writing ventures, in order to give my time more fully to Him, and to my family during this holiday season.

Don’t worry. I will still be opening up the linkup every week, for you to continue to share your beautiful writing in this space, and I will continue to enjoy visiting and commenting/sharing your material as much as I can.

In the meantime, I would LOVE for this space to become a place of prayer! A place where faith bloggers unite to not only share their writings, but also to lift up one another to the One who makes all things possible!

We ALL need prayer! We ALL need God’s favor, protection, grace, provision, guidance, and wisdom.

It would bless me to know that we are not only supporting one another by visiting and sharing our posts, but also that we are PRAYING for one another weekly!

Would you do me a favor? Would you make a conscious effort to lift up the sister/brother directly linked-up before you? Would you commit to praying for their ministry, influence, family, relationships, and spiritual walk?

It takes all of 30 seconds to quickly say a prayer over one person each week. 30 seconds that can make a HUGE difference in the life of one person.

Each week, I will include a graphic with a scripture verse, and all you have to do is pray that verse over the person in front of you.  Can we do that?

Let’s become a people who passionately pursue the Father’s heart for one another, link arms in prayer, and support one another’s ministries.

Praying for each one of you today!!

Lord, it can be so easy to become inundated with all of the to-do’s in our line of ministry, and fall prey to the idea that our success rests entirely on our shoulder’s. But we know that this is not the case.

God, you have equipped us for ministry, while simultaneously creating us for rest. May our ministry never take precedence over what’s most important. May we never forsake our first love!

I pray today that each of my sister’s (or brother’s, as the case may be), make the effort to steal some precious time away with you this week, where we can be refreshed and re-invigorated for the tasks at hand. Myself included!

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Praying the Armor of God Verses Over Your Ministry

October 24, 2018 By Rachel Lee 12 Comments

Do you pray the armor of God verses over your ministry?

As writer’s, leaders, influencer’s, and women in ministry, we have a target on our back’s. We have a very REAL enemy, who has a very REAL mission.

A mission to steal, to kill, and to destroy.

Divide and to conquer.

To strike fear in the heart’s of men (and women) in hopes of diverting us from fulfilling our call.

This life we live is a battlefield, and we are in a war of mass proportion.

Should this surprise us? Not really.

My Prayer for You: LinkUp

October 17, 2018 By Rachel Lee 13 Comments

Do You Pray for Favor?

I don’t know about you, but I continually ask the Lord for favor— with both God AND man.

As Christian writers and influencers, we NEED the favor of God to rest upon us.
We need Him to establish the work of our hands.
And make our way straight.

Only He can accomplish in and through us, that which He desires.
